Ga. Conference are thankful for the leadership of the laity by Lyn Powell. She and others have discerned that a purposeful covenant to Christ and the UMC needed these revisions. Words are often easily spoken but are not given the commitment due them.

I hope, along with Mrs. Powell and the others, that by these additions to our vows converts or transfers will become more faithful and diligent in pursuing their Christian life, for such a time as this in our Church.
